Went for a weekend in Carmel last week, down on the Monterey peninsula. That was a lot of fun. Visited Big Sur and watched the kelp through binoculars for sea otters in Pacific Grove. Even found a sweet shop specialising in English confectionary: expensive but great! Forgot to mention this in my last diary entry.
Never underestimate the pleasure that is a jacuzzi for two.
