Eloïse woke up very excited this morning because today was the day that she was going to get to finish the bag that she’s been working on at school and bring it home. She been cross-stitching it for a few weeks and then she made the strap with yarn and got to sew that on today. Her teacher made the bag part and attached the cross-stitch, I think. She is extremely proud of it. It’s my favorite thing that she’s made at school so far.
We’re back from the south of Spain and, with an uncharacteristically fast turnaround, the photos of our trip are already on-line.
I took the opportunity to revamp our gallery by upgrading to Gallery 3, which sacrifices a few of the features of Gallery 2, but benefits from being faster and easier to manage.

Dinner this evening was Robbie Burns; not the poet, but the dish: fillet steak with a thick layer of haggis on top, smothered in a fine whisky sauce. Delicious!
This rainbow appeared out of nowhere as we were driving back to Stornoway from Lewis.
