Who the fuck are we, anyway?
He: A forty-something, cantankerous, atheistic curmudgeon with an interest in technology in general and computing in particular. A free software stalwart, he champions open standards and system transparency.
Opinionated, politically aware and idealistic, he loathes US foreign policy in general and its support of Israel in particular. He spent more than five years living in the US, during which time he grew to better understand the people of that influential nation. Armed with that better understanding, he found he liked the place even less than when it was more an enigma.
He used to work at Google, but no longer has to, thanks to two men by the name of Larry and Sergey. Thanks, Larry. Thanks, Sergey.
She: A thirty-something, no less opinionated than he, but more reticent in her stance. Strong-willed and ill-tempered, as you might expect of a red-head. Clubbed over the head and dragged back to his lair, she had no choice but to succumb.
They: The small people, blank slates and truly free of spirit and mind. They can still be anything they care to be. Beautiful, innocent, loud and tiring. The only thing that matters in this world.
We: Enjoy a good belly-laugh.
